One great thing about Atlanta is the rich mix of classically styled older homes. This article features the renovation of a charming Dutch Colonial in the Brookhaven area that was in need of an interior update with increased functionality and storage. We removed interior walls to improve traffic flow, gutted and rebuilt the kitchen for better functionality, and remodeled the home’s three bathrooms with contemporary materials and fixtures. Along the way we were also able to utilize unfinished attic space behind the bedroom kneewalls to provide much needed closet storage.
