1. How do I make sure I am not overspending?

Make a budget plan and stick to it. You give us a budget and we will work within that budget to make your project a success.

2. How much should I be involved?

Blake Shaw Homes welcomes their clients’ questions and opinions. We want you to make the decisions that are best for you, so that we can build the home of your dreams. Clients are welcome to be involved as little or as much as they choose.

3. How much time should I expect the project to take and will I have to leave my home?

Length of project and whether or not you will have to leave your home varies depending on the project. Blake Shaw Homes works to make the remodeling process as convenient as possible and specifics are worked out prior to starting the project.

4. How do I prepare for situations that may arise during the process?

During remodeling, situations can arise and you as the homeowner need to always expect the unexpected. You cannot be prepared for everything, but at Blake Shaw Homes we work to solve any situations in a timely manner that is best for you, the client.

5. Do you outsource work to architects, interior designers, etc. and if so, can you get me references for them?

Blake Shaw Homes works with a talented team of architects, interior designers, landscapers and more, and we are more than happy to get references for them upon request.

6. How do I remodel my home, but make sure I maintain the charm of the original home?

First and foremost there is such a thing as too much and the key to a good remodel is to make sure you do not go overboard. The original charm of a home is what make the home unique and our goal at Blake Shaw Homes is to make renovations that enhance the original beauty and charm of the home.
